Frank Suetonius Officer (1861 - 1938)

 

Frank Suetonius Officer was born at Rocklands Station, Balmoral, Victoria on 26th May, 1861 and was the 4th adult son of 10 children born to Robert Officer of Rocklands and Martha Officer née Read.  He married Ethel Catherine Marzetti Umphelby at Toorak, Victoria on 5th December, 1888.  They had four children, Sir (Frank) Keith Officer OBE, MC, Elsie Margaret Officer, Jean Catherine Forster née Officer and Brigadier Hugh Ronald Officer.  He died on 13th June, 1938 when hit by a car while walking along Wellington Parade, East Melbourne.
